Phase 2 Progress

We are thrilled to share the latest progress on the transformation of the Terrace Dining Room (TDR). As the fall semester reopening approaches, we are excited to welcome students, staff, and faculty to experience the new and improved dining space.

Recently, we have reached a significant milestone with 40% of the demolition for phase two already completed. The installation of exhaust hoods and stainless steel backsplashes has been finished to enhance both functionality and aesthetics. The open kitchen electrical work has been completed allowing for a modern and efficient kitchen space. Finally, the team has finished drain connections important to food preparation and sanitation.

We want to express our sincere appreciation for the patience and understanding of the entire AU community during this renovation period. Rest assured, our dedicated team is working to ensure that we remain on track for the reopening of TDR. As we continue this exciting journey, we look forward to unveiling the renovated TDR and bringing the best of dining to American University. We can't wait to welcome you back to TDR soon!
